He holds a B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Antioquia in Colombia, a M.S. in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain.
After completing his doctoral studies, Arroyave underwent specialized training at the prestigious Swedish Corrosion Institute in Stockholm. This equipped him with cutting-edge knowledge in corrosion mechanisms, behavior of materials, and protection methods.
